Memorial Message:
Leo Paul Vander-Haeghen was born on February 5, 1926, and passed away on November 19, 1992.
Leo graduated from Eagle Rock High School in either 1942 or 1943. He was the first Eagle Scout, for the city of Eagle Rock, placed third in all-around gymnastics, for all of LA Unified, was a navigator on a ship, in the Merchant Marines, and had a highly successful construction career.
Most importantly, Leo was a wonderful father, who instilled many positive values in us children. Later in his years, he became both an accomplished golfer, and had a green thumb in his backyard. Leo was 66 when he passed away.
Our loving father will always be in our hearts.
